ADU2Me ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through adu2me.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what you give us to prepare your feasibility report and respond to your inquiry, we never sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Information you provide. When you use the placement tool or contact form, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, property address, the ADU model and configuration you selected, and anything you write in a message.
Information collected automatically. When you first arrive at the Site, we record basic attribution — the campaign parameters or referring site that brought you here and the page you landed on — and store it in your browser's local storage so that if you later submit a form, we know how you found us. If we enable analytics (such as Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager), those tools collect standard usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and browser, subject to their own policies.
Property data. To prepare your feasibility report, we look up publicly available records about the property address you provide — jurisdiction, assessor parcel number, and zoning — from county GIS services. These lookups use the property location, not your identity.
We do not collect payment card details through the Site, and the Site has no user accounts or login.
We use the information we collect to generate and email your feasibility report; to respond to your messages; to follow up about your project by email, phone, or text; to maintain our records of inquiries and leads; to improve the Site and our tools; and to send occasional updates about ADU2Me offerings, which you can opt out of at any time. Our forms include hidden anti-spam fields; submissions identified as automated spam are discarded.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in these limited ways:
The Site uses browser local storage to remember first-touch attribution as described above. If analytics are enabled, those tools may set cookies; you can control cookies through your browser settings, and the Site remains usable without them. Because there is no industry-standard interpretation of "Do Not Track" signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.
We keep inquiry and lead records for as long as they are useful for responding to you, managing potential and actual projects, and meeting business and legal record-keeping needs. You may request deletion at any time (see below), and we will honor it unless we are required to retain the information.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask what information we hold about you, by emailing info@adu2me.com. We honor these requests for all visitors, including rights available to California residents under state privacy law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them. To stop marketing contact: use the unsubscribe link in any email, reply STOP to any text, or email us.
The Site is intended for property owners and adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including transport encryption on the Site and access-limited storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be posted on this page.
