Welcome to ADU2Me. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of adu2me.com (the "Site"), including the ADU placement tool, the feasibility reports it generates, the Title 24 solar calculator, the cost-range tools, and any other content or services offered through the Site. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
ADU2Me is a California corporation located at 405 W 9th Ave, Escondido, CA 92025. ADU2Me provides sales, design coordination, and structural insulated panel (SIP) packages for accessory dwelling units in California.
ADU2Me does not hold a California contractor's license, does not perform construction, and does not sign or negotiate construction contracts. All construction services are contracted directly between the customer and Elkins Build Group, a licensed California contractor (CSLB), which performs the work and is solely responsible for construction means, methods, safety, quality, and schedule. ADU2Me receives a referral fee on ADU2Me-sourced builds under a written agreement with Elkins Build Group. Nothing on this Site is an offer by ADU2Me to perform construction services.
The placement tool and the feasibility reports it emails are informational estimates generated from data you provide and from publicly available third-party sources, including geocoding services and county GIS records. They are provided for general guidance only. They are not a formal site assessment, a survey, an engineering or architectural opinion, a zoning determination, a guarantee of buildability or eligibility, or a guarantee of permit approval. Jurisdiction, APN, zoning, setback, and footprint information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate, and ADU footprints shown on satellite imagery are approximate visualizations only. Actual project scope, eligibility, and placement require a site survey, engineering, and permitting review by the appropriate professionals and your local jurisdiction.
The Title 24 solar calculator applies the prescriptive formula from the California Energy Code using only floor area and climate zone, and its output — including any estimated performance-path or battery reductions — is an approximation for planning purposes. Actual Title 24 compliance is determined through certified energy modeling by a licensed Title 24 energy consultant and your permitting jurisdiction. Cost ranges shown on the Site reflect typical Southern California figures at the time of publication and vary with site conditions, finish level, location, and market timing. Neither tool constitutes engineering, energy-consulting, financial, or legal advice.
Prices shown on the Site are SIP-package starting prices unless expressly stated otherwise, and exclude freight, foundation, site work, permits, utilities, interior finishes, and all construction labor. "Fully finished" ranges describe a complete turnkey build performed by our licensed builder and vary by site and selections. All prices are estimates, are subject to change with material costs and market conditions, and are superseded by any written quote or contract you receive. No price on the Site is a binding offer.
By submitting your information through the placement tool or contact form, you agree that ADU2Me may contact you about your inquiry by email, phone, or text message at the contact details you provide. Consent to marketing texts or calls is not a condition of purchase. You can opt out of emails via the unsubscribe link, reply STOP to texts, or email info@adu2me.com at any time.
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by submitting false or third-party information without authorization, probing or disrupting the Site or its lead and email systems, scraping content at scale, or using the Site for any unlawful purpose. We may restrict access for misuse.
The Site and its content — including text, designs, model names, illustrations, images, tools, and the ADU2Me name and logo — are owned by ADU2Me or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial purposes; any other use requires our prior written permission. Premier SIPS, Elkins Build Group, and other partner names and marks belong to their respective owners.
The Site links to and embeds third-party services, including YouTube video, Google Maps, and county assessor websites. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and ADU2Me is not responsible for their content or practices.
The Site and all content, tools, reports, and estimates are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This section does not affect any product warranty expressly provided in a written contract for a SIP package (such as the manufacturer's panel warranty), or any warranty provided by Elkins Build Group under its construction contracts.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ADU2Me and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content, tools, or reports. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ADU2Me's total liability arising from the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you. This section applies to the Site only; liability under any signed purchase or construction contract is governed by that contract.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ADU2Me from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
